Recently, as an employed physician, I was visiting with a patient when he pulled out his bill from a prior visit. He pointed out that he had been billed $225 for his 15-minute office visit. His insurance paid $113.00, and he was billed the remaining balance of $112.00. He wondered aloud about the value of the costly insurance if this was the result.
Ministry Medical is my solution to the expensive, inefficient, insurance model of healthcare.
What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
DPC is a membership program that enables physicians to return to a more personalized approach to care by, in part, giving them the time to focus on the patient as an individual. This results in a more authentic and meaningful relationship, which in turn means more meaningful care.

Bypassing insurance, DPC eliminates copays, reduces overall healthcare costs, and provides convenience along with improved personalized care. Members instead pay a flat, affordable monthly fee, returning the control of care to their physician rather than an insurancy company.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
As of January 1, 2026, the Federal “One Big Beautiful Act” allows patients to use HSA funds to pay DPC fees (Adults up to $150/mo; Family up to $300/mo.
Medicare: Many DPC models don't accept patients over 65 due to the expansion of risk regarding concerns for fraud. The solution is for a physicial to opt out of Medicare, which Dr. Dale has done. Completion of a mutually signed consent form is required prior to service, which will be addressed at intake. Importantly, patients may still utilize or orders for referrals, labs and imaging.

Acute Care
Acute care appointments for non-members are available on a limited basis.
Services include acute illness treatment, rash, employment physicals, and other acute concerns. Chronic disease management requires DPC membership.
